2003 Progress Report

1. Supporting Libraries:

• Establishment of a Library at Old City Youth Association.
• Establishment of a Library the Palestinian Ru'ayya "Vision" institution.
• Establishment of a Library at Silwan Athleic Club at Ras Al-Amoud.
• Establishment of a Library at Burj Alluqluq.

Creating a network between these libraries to exchange services.

2. Support of sports teams, Summer camps, Scouts, and Dabkeh groups.

The FHF provided support to several youth groups this year including the following:

• Elia’: Summer Camp
• Palestinian Popular Arts Center: Supporting Dabkeh
• Jerusalem Clubs Federation: arranging football and basketball matches.

3. Drug Prevention, Awareness and Treatment Program:

Support to Naji Group: The FHF helped Narcotics Anonymous Jerusalem International Group in covering its running costs.

Support to Old City Center for Counseling: providing awareness sessions in schools and clubs for nine months on the dangers of drugs.
